1931 Proctor & Gamble Cookbook gifted to me by a friend.
I keep this treasure perched on the top of my baker's rack.
I line the shelves of my baker's rack with clear plastic recycled from an old poster frame.
A peek inside reveals the books purpose...
"That she may find the help and inspiration she needs
for her complex task of homemaking is our earnest wish."
Other treasures tucked inside the cookbook were clipped out
recipes, a brownie recipe, one for chocolate plum pudding,
one for peach bavarian, and one for Strawberry Fluff from a Rochester, NY
newspaper dated July 15, 1930.
