A Few of My favorite Things

After my appointment with the hand surgeon, we just had to stop
by Trader Joe's this to pick up a few of our favorite things...Yumm!

CHOCOLATE CROISSANTS

So easy...set them while frozen on a baking sheet and let them sit
uncovered all night.  In the morning, pop them in the oven for 20-25 minutes

So warm and delicious! With a side of

TOMCORD SEEDLESS GRAPES

These dazzling, dark-purple, seedless gems are a crossbreed of
Concord and Thompson grapes.  $2.79 for a one pound container!
Sweet Chili Sauce made with red chilies and Thai garlic in a sweet-sour sauce ($1.29).
I poured it over low-fat cream cheese and served with Whole Wheat Lavash Chips.
What a healthy snack or appetizer!

And, of course, we always buy cheese!  Our favs--Tocano with black pepper
and Asiago with Rosemary and Olive Oil.  Both cost around $4.00 per package.

And Fresh Black Figs from California $3.49 for a one-pound container.
I will be trying this new recipe:

Fresh Figs with Ricotta and Honey
