Are we Galatians 6: 10 people?

"As we have, therefore, opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them
that are of the household of faith."  Galatians 6:10

How very thankful we are for the blessing of Galatians 6:10 people in our lives.   Over past couple of weeks those in our church body and neighboring friends have shown their goodness to us.  After crushing my right ring finger in the car window, fellow believers have come to our aid with wonderful meals (and fellowship).  They did some errands for us, and kept us in their prayers.  How wonderful it is to be apart of this loving, caring community!  How true it is that people need people, and that people need to help people.  If you are like me, you find it much easier to be helping others than to have someone serving you.  I find such pleasure in knowing that I have been a help to others.  But do we rob others of blessings when we are so self-sufficient, thinking we do not need the help of others? There needs to be that balance of giving and receiving, blessing and being blessed.  God has placed us in our church families for a reason...to be a help and blessing to one another.

So let us each, as we have opportunity, do good to those in our realm of influence...our families, our neighborhood, our friends, those at work and at school, and especially those of like faith.  May our song be, "Make me a blessing, make me a blessing to someone today!"

Have a Blessed Day,
